On Tuesday 18th November, HH received Metropolitan Ghayeth Abdel-Malek,
Metropolitan of the Anglican Church in Egypt and the Middle East with
Bishop Tray (USA) and Bishop Oromby (Ughanda). Attended the meeting,
HG Abba Joannes, Abba Gabriel, Rev'd Gabriel Yanni (Deputy of the 
Anglican Church in Egypt) and Mrs Adina.

On Friday 21st November, HH Pope Shenouda received at the Papal residence
in St Bishoy monastery, HG Gunnar Lind former Archbishop of the church
of Sweden, they discussed relations between the two churches. HH visited
him at the Embassy of Sweden, HG attended the weekly Wednesday lecture
of HH at St Mark Cathedral, there he gave a word. Then, HH received 
him at the Papal residence in Cairo. They are seen in the picture
[See picture] in the Austrian Embassy along with HE Abba Athanasios.

On Thursday 27th November evening, HH Pope Shenouda and 
Dr Mohamed Sayed Tantawy, Cheikh of Al-Azhar Mosque
participated in a Seminar held in Heliopolis Sporting Club about
"Terrorism and the position of religions"

On Saturday 29 November, HG Abba Paula bishop of Gharbia traveled 
to Los Angeles and Cleveland for treatment. HH received him at
his residence at St Bishoy the Eve of his departure. We wish
health for HG.

On Dec 12th, HG Abba Marcos shall travel to USA for some medical
examination and shall be back to Egypt on Dec 28th

On Saturday 29th November, HH delegated HG Abba Joannes to celebrate
the mass for the feast of St Theodore of Shatb at his nunnery
in Haret El-Rum. HH had received Tamav Edrosis (Mother Superior
of St Theodor Nunnery) and Mother Joanna on Wednesday 26th November
at the Papal Residence..

To support monsticism in our monastery in Melbourne, HH sent two
monks from the Baramos monastery to live there:
Monk-Priest Polycarpos El-Baramosy
Monk-Priest Joachim El-Baramosy
HH received them at the Papal residence one week before their departure.
They arrived in Australia on Nov 29th '97 after a lot of official
procedures. We hope success to them and to the monastery.

The first Coptic church in Canada was St Mark (Toronto), it's first
priest was Hegumen Morcos Elias Abdel-Messih. Then our church in
Montreal and its priest was Hegumen Raphael Younnan.

On Sunday 23rd November '97 evening, Pope Shenouda visited
St Mina Monastery with HG Abba Joannes. There he met Their
Graces Abba Gregorius, Angelos, Isaiah, Demetrios,
Anthony and Paul. HH prayed in the church and annointed
the Cylinder where the relics of St Mina are with spices and perfumes.
The bishops participated with him. He blessed the congregation
and on Monday morning he ordained priests.

On Monday Nov 24th evening, in his was back from St Mina Monastery,
HH inaugurated "St Shenouda House for the Mental Handicaps" in
King Mariut which belongs to Virgin Mary (Janacklise - Alexandria).
Many bishops were there: Their graces Bishops Demetrios, Joannes,
Anthony, Paul and Taodros as well as the priests of the church.
HH visited the house and was glad to see the care for the handicaps.
In the picture he is see with two of the handicapped kids and some
servants and priests.
